It's been forever and a day since we were last bequeathed a mix by our chums, Attitude City. In the last year, they've been busily throwing parties in Minneapolis and Montreal. Tomorrow (7-21-07) their Twin Cities branch is throwing a Yacht party. Leading up to this event they released this mix as a promo. To get a sense of the party awesomeness about to manifest on a lake somewhere in Minnesota, you should read their own words.

When introducing you to  Attitude City DJs a few weeks ago, we didn't quite have all the facts. Apparently, they're not just the duo of Karl Frankowski and Jeff Dubois but an entire international gang totaling five with three more members in Montréal. And so, without further adieu, I present the misplaced méchant miscreants Davey Lahteenmaa, Chris Pare and David Shaw. Now, to the music!

I hate to admit it, but we had some serious equipment havoc this week. Jon G was working on another energetic slammer for you, but the damn soundcard on this laptop kept munging the mix. It would've taken hours to fix it so we decided to go with a back-up this week.  In Jon's place, we bring you Attitude City, a DJ duo (Karl Frankowski and Jeff Dubois) from "The Twin Cities" in "The Land of a Thousand Lakes".

Jeff, Karl and company have been throwing a successful series of parties and weeklies around Minneapolis. We planned on introducing them to you over the Labor Day weekend with an exclusive mix, but instead, today you get a taste of what's to come. You'll find their styles aligned with Bethany's, with tastes of Italo, synth-pop, house classics and other robot-machine-funk rhythms. Enjoy!
