Real Estate: September 2005 Archives
Don't know if this has made the rounds yet, but as I was walking down Court Street this morning, I noticed a sign in front of the old candy factory lofts for a Court Street Lofts website. Lots of big real estate phrases in here: "Carroll Gardens offers a rare sense of caring and community," "a private landscaped garden entertains leisurely strolls and quiet meditation," "classic kitchens balance the timeless elegance of rich granite countertops with the modern style [blah, blah, blah]," and my personal favorite "master bathrooms are sources of daily renewal and restoration" (What does this mean exactly? Do I want to know?) It ends with "beyond your Carroll Gardens enclave, you'll be surrounded by an environment of quality and convenience." There's probably a few other things you'll be surrounded by once you step out of that private enclave of yours as well ;) Who knew that living on 9th Street could be such a quaint experience!!! You might remember a past post of mine about the joys of living oh-so-close to the BQE. Curbed, of course, has weighed in on this building as well.
Note to God: Whatever you do, do *not* reincarnate me as a copywriter for real estate websites.
