Photoblog: June 2006 Archives

ABrooklynLife was put off by the torrential rain that started just as we made our way to the subway and aborted our Coney Island Mermaid Parade plans. Our friend at NewYorkette also skipped the parade, but she did snap this amusing photo of a New Yorker-reading mermaid on her way to the festivities (thanks for letting us use this cool photo).

I'm sure many will follow, but Gowanus Lounge snapped some good shots of the mermaids and mermen.

Despite only owning a basic Canon Elph S410, I still like to have fun. Here's some photos I took while slightly drunk and in posession of a flashlight. (Oh, and I was in Brooklyn while taking these photos, for those of you keeping score.)
