Photoblog: November 2004 Archives
Finally back from the Thanksgiving induced coma. Didn't leave town, but definitely ate like I was at a relative's house. In between stuffing bites of jalepeno corn bread dressing into my cheeks, I snapped a couple of shots of the little art project on Columbia Street in Carroll Gardens West (I think that's what we're calling it now). There's a new sculpture or two every couple of weeks.
I uploaded some more wedding photos into the album. These are the best of the photos that were taken digitally, and even though they are good, the best ones were film (so you can't see 'em here--at least not yet). Enjoy. Sorry about the varying sizes on horizontal and verticle ... still figuring out this photo program that automatically resizes them. If you want a copy of any of them, let me know, and I"ll send you the original at higher resolution. All photos by Mira Mamon (who I highly recommend).
Update: We took our photo ablums off the site once our traffic picked up. You can view the wedding pictures here
New York loves Halloween. The kids in Carroll Gardens swarmed the streets this weekend as lions, tigers, ghouls, goblins, and other assorted children's pop culture characters (I saw a boy of at least 12 in a Thomas the Tank Engine outfit). Of course, the real crowd descended on the Village for the annual Halloween parade, which we could never get close enough to see. Among my favorite costumes Thing 1 and Thing 2, Beaker from the Muppets, Cindi with one "eye," and a fabulous foam robot with entourage. Enjoy the photo album.
