Neighborhood: August 2007 Archives
So there's been a lot of noise about various New York bridges not being satisfactory, but I agree with the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, it's the Gowanus Expressway that poses the real risk. Anyone who's lived near the highway know that it is corroded and leaky. And someone might want to look into the structure that holds up the Smith and 9th Street subway station. It's conveniently covered in tarp, but something tells me it's not pretty underneath.
