The Triple Crown Problem
I first heard about Triple Crown's problems on Brownstoner. The short version is that vocal people in the neighborhood see the bar as a noise problem and want them to shut down. Those same people have influenced the community board who won't let the owners sell the business and thus are forcing Triple Crown to stay in business. The current owners just want out. Check out Triple Crown's side of the story on its website and watch the video (at bottom of page). There's also a link to a petition that you can sign in support of the owners.

Any reason why they can't just Lease the place? something similar to a lease with an option to buy, sort of like with a house, structured like a limited partnership (llp?)
