New Yoga Studio in Town: Mala Yoga
Got tipped off to Mala Yoga (on Court at Amity street) by this Observer article, which details the new studio and potential bad blood from Area Yoga. Having had classes by all three of the teachers, I can definitely recommend them and I'm guessing the new studio will be super popular. Check out the photo renovation shots. Oh, but why must everything be in Cobble Hill and not Carroll Gardens ...

:)
Yay! I used to take classes at the Yoga Lab on Atlantic until it closed and have been hoping for something else to open up closer to where I live.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with them?
Thanks for the shout-out! We're very exciting to open, which we will do on November 1st. Our web site -- www.malayoganyc.com -- goes live tomorrow. In the meantime, if you need to find us, e-mail malayoganyc@gmail.com. See you on the mat soon - Steph
