no need to sign your life away, head over to lowes and visit the paint cage. last time i was there it wasn't even locked (it may look like it. just use some chuztpa and open the door yourself). which is good because it could take 20 minutes to find someone with a key (or a clue).
expect to pay about a buck or so over home depot prices.
show your ID to the stooge at the self service check out and you're good to go. if there's no one at the self service lane you might want to avoid it since the machines won't let you move on with out their approval.
