Hibino: Japanese Tapas

Jam for Bread , the  coffehouse with music-venue aspirations, never overcame its awful name and cold space. But Hibino, a Japanese small plates and sushi restaurant that's been slowly prepping for opening in the space, sounds promising. One of my favorite places to eat right now is Zenkichi in Williamsburg, and I definitely think a Japanese tapas place would do well in this neighborhood.
