ABL:Radio - Late Night - Mixed by HipGnosis

| | Comments (3)

Latenight_1Listening to the low howl of cold winds outside blend with this week's mix evokes feelings of solitude. That may sound a bit bleak, but I've always been of the opinion that matching dark music to dark weather creates a sense of peace.

For this episode, we have HipGnosis bringing experimental hip-hop and IDM sounds to ABL:Radio. His first mix had the most downloads for a mix on single day--around 4,500 thanks to StumbleUpon.

Since I've had difficulty getting this podcast out on Friday, I might move it to Monday or Wednesday in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned!

Another brilliant mixage from HipGnosis..

Seems like his first kick in the head got him the right sound!

RAREFIED SPLENDOR and now this! Taking it all to another level..

Watch out for this guy -

He´s got the ideas, the sound and the skills to manage both..

If no label is signing him soon - I fucking will...

WARP - WAKE UP!

GOOD JOB MY FRIEND...

Love the change up toward the end and Jeru the Damaja, he ain't no amateur...

Reminds me of this store I worked in back in the mid '90s. One of my coworkers played Jeru and Gangstar almost non-stop, I never tired of it. Nice nod to Brooklyn!
