Welcome to Whole Foods
Our friend over at RandomBrooklyn took this rather disturbing/amusing picture of the Whole Foods site in Gowanus. Brings new meaning to genetically modified veggies.

Hm. So that is what is going on in that lot. I knew of the WF and I walk by that site a lot, but I never put the 2 together. We used to peer in there until we saw all the "warning toxic" signs, so now we just walk by quickly and try not to breathe ;) Hm... I have conflicting views on this as the site is kind of scary as is, and I do love WF and wish I could get ot one more easliy, but all that traffic stuff sounds bad. It's right on my "walk" path too, and I can't describe how much I hate cars pulling out + in to parking lots when I'm trying to walk on the sidewalk. You'd think that here in NY they would remember that pedestrians actually use the sidewalks, but they don't. A parking lot here is just as bad as a parking lot anywhere.
