Back Up and At 'Em
Typepad started to melt down, but it is now back. If you are an avid enough reader (of course you are), you might have noticed things disappearing, reappearing or being generally unavailable. This appears to be fixed and we return now to our regularly scheduled programming.

Sometimes I get the feeling that Typepad isn't run by professionals. If I managed my server upgrades and back-ups like they do, I would've been fired long ago. I recommend other users out there to go get a domain name pointing at your blog before your traffic and google searches all point to your Typepad sub domain. This will make it easier for you to move elsewhere when you need to.
Dennis, Is it true that if you don't comment on each post you have to sleep on the couch?
actually, it's worse than that.. I'm not fed.. or am I allowed to see the light of day unless I comment on each post.
Actually that's what happens to me if I don't post! Dennis gets very cranky when he can't make a snarky little comment on something new every day.
