Coatimundis in Cancun
I think baby coatimundis are just about the cutest animal in the whole world--OK, that's a gross overexaggeration, but they are pretty damn cute. Sadly, we did not see them in Cancun, but our lovely friends who graciously let us stay in their time share, took a side trip to Tulum, and saw these adorable creatures. Thanks G&B.

oh i want one! i agree- cutest animal in the whole world...
hehehehe, you want a coatimundi? Yes, they are cute, and yes, they are wonderful creatures. I jumped into getting a coatimundi and boy was I not ready! Bosley, my 5 month old coati, is the love of my life, but he is like a cross between a 2 year old child and a ferret. I really have my work cut out for me! I didnt realize how much love and attention you have to give them, and how much work it is to potty train! HEHEHEHE.. but above all, he is wonderful and I wouldnt trade him for the world. I have been doing an alright job raising him, but its work. So, if you are interested in getting one, you better have the time, patience, and money! Fair warning! HEHEHEHEE... But dont let this talk you out of it. They are incredible creatures.... just lots of work!
