Pigroast

Took a nice little jaunt to the country--well, more like the suburbs--this weekend to celebrate the grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary (!). It was my first pig roast.

As much as I love a good BBQ.. it was shocking to see the entire animal over a grill. I'm just glad I didn't have to clean it. All that aside.. it's was pretty damn good...

Where I come from we call it a pickin'. And if you can't carry a plate cause of the beer in your left hand, all you need is your fork. Such good times.

Down in GA, they hardly ever cook an entire hog. I'd love to find a place around NY that serves a good Brunswick Stew.
