i suppose you think this obit will give you a good excuse for not sending me the tx pictures yet ... in my benevolence i'll give you one more day.
actually, this is a rather important moment in the world. i remember when you said that this boy of yours was "letting you borrow" his computer at your apartment -- since you had so much more room. (or some such excuse) and i thought -gasp!- he must love you. so perhaps we should observe a moment of silence [...]
Ha! that's a good one considering my house back in Atlanta was like 3 times the size of her apartment. Anyway, this is the excuse to finally get her a newer Mac. Something portable maybe . . .
I'm sad to see this one go. That plucky little thing has been through so much. It's had MacOS 9, Linux, BSD, and MacOS X beta through 1.3 installed on it at some point or another.
It hasn't had any major problems in 5 years. In that same time span, I had 3 faulty (exploding) PC motherboards with bad memory and smoking power supplies. Macs are expensive, but they're usually made with excellent parts.
oh, the new powerbooks are so sexy...
like robot girls from the future.
I've decided to buy a Powerbook again...very soon I think. Marsha thinks I'm insane, but fully supports me for some reason :) Dennis, we need to talk!
