in luck: Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadown, and winter will continue in
its frigid state. You can check out the story at CNN. Sadly, the official site seems to be bogged down by traffic (Beware: In the official photo, Phil has not been photographed on his best side.)

were you with us the one time the gcc crew made the trek? it was insanely cold and crappy and boring. after the finale, i recall grant vomiting a good deal of ol' grandad's whiskey - mutated somehow into a sunshiny yellow - all over lamanna's car. i laughed and laughed at his obvious misfortune.
